SuperSprings and Stabil-Ride November 27, 2007, 09:56:21 pm Yahoo Message Number: 326Hello, I have a 2005 Conquest 6316DK on a 2004 Kodiak. I was interested inupgrading to the SuperSprings and Koni FSD shocks. I emailed Mike atSuperSprings to verify part numbers, which he did. On a return email, Imentioned that I might have the "Stabil-Ride" option, in which hereplied that their product will not work with this setup.Didn't most 19.5 GVW MH's come with the Stabil-Ride option?Does anyone here know how to verify if it has this option or not? Theeariest build codes I can find on the net are for the 2006 models, so Ido not know if they have changed. If they have not, then I believe I dohave the "Tapered Springs", are these only used with the Stabil-Rideoption?Do any of you use the SuperSprings on the 19.5 GVW chassis?Sorry for so many questions. My rig does ride very well as is, butcould be better. we have been very happy with it.Thanks, Bill Quote Selected

They were installed by McCormickMotors before being delivered to GS. It included a new font endstabilizer bar. Old was 2". Stabil Ride changed bar to 2 1/2" It alsoincluded a set of longer snubbers for rear axle. Their color isyellow. I have not heard of anyone using SuperSprings. Adding a set ofBilstien shocks will help the ride. Quote Selected

I will crawl underand see if I have this snubber you mentioned.I plan on upgrading the shocks, but I would also like to get a litlelift to the back as well. I have read on other forums that theSuperSprings do make an improvement. Thanks, Bill Quote Selected
