Fire in my Greyhawk 33DS May 09, 2008, 09:06:31 am Yahoo Message Number: 1057DW went over to the MH yesterday to turn on the refridgerator, heardfunny noises and smoke started coming out of the sides of the fridge, then a small explosion and flames shooting up the outside of themotorhome. DW called 911 and with the help of a neighbor was able toget the fire partially contained with a water hose before the firedepartment arrived. The fridge is in the slide that was extended soall damage is contained in the slide and no smoke damage internally. To make a long story short the fire dept thinks it was a faulty gasregulator in the fridge. We are now waiting for the claim adjuster. The MH is still under first year warrantee so I need to notify thedealer. Going to be along process I'm afraid and am thinking theslide is going to need to be replaced. I have taken pictures in caselegal issues develope.Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated.I also posted this over on RV.netDoug Quote Selected
