Seneca Tires September 25, 2008, 02:16:53 am Yahoo Message Number: 1757Hi all.Found a problem with one of the Goodyear G107 tires on our Senecatoday. A bead wire is protruding through the tire just where the beadand sidewall meet, inner dual of course. The tire needs to be bereplaced but local Les Schwab indicates this tire may no longer bemanufactured or may be difficult to locate. If necessary, I mighthave to buy two new tires for the front axle and re-locate one of theG107s to the rear.Does anyone know if a Goodyear G670 or of another 245/R19.5 tire thatmight be suitable for a Seneca/Kodiak with Duramax? Thanks in advance.Paul Quote Selected
Re: Seneca Tires Reply #1 – September 25, 2008, 10:56:01 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1766I had a similar issue. One of my Duals developed a bulge. TheGoodyear model tire I was looking at went through a manufacturingchange on 2/28/06 which changed its specifications dramatically.I decided to switch to Michelin XZE (#75997) going up a load range (Gto H). Expensive, since I replaced all the tires.Overall I am happy as stability is improved. There is less rock androll at low speeds.Jayco Seneca HD 34SS Diesel.K, "kemper_mm" wrote:QuoteHi all.Found a problem with one of the Goodyear G107 tires on our Senecatoday.
