Kodiak Chassis Vibration October 09, 2007, 07:23:57 am Yahoo Message Number: 177A mechanical engineering question ....GM issued a Service Bulletin on "diagnostics for a vibration." I asked the service tech at the dealer in Kansas City about it, and he said there was a vibration problem with some chassis's, and the service bulletin shows them where to look.... not how to fix it.My RV will begin vibrating at about 65-70 mph. I have had all the tires "road force" balanced at Les Schwab, and none of my tires/wheels are out of round (now). The vibration can be felt anywhere in the RV.Since the RV leans 3-4" to the rear driver's side, and 1-2" to the front drivers side, and the drive train is attached to the frame rails, could the leaning affect the harmonics of the drive system, since the rear axle would still be level? I think there are 2 or 3 separate drive shafts connecting the transmission to the rear axle, and the hangers are all attached to the frame rails.DennySee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
