Koni shock install

Yahoo Message Number: 14675
Ok, so I finally received my Koni shocks and my RV is 30 minutes away from me at our neighborhood park. I have thought about replacing them there on site, can anyone tell me the basic tools needed (sizes) to replace them so that I don't have to take my entire tool box or more importantly so I don't have to wait!! I have a 2005 34ss, rear shocks are eye to stud and fronts should be eye to eye.

When I had mine done at a truck shop the mechanic said there was very little working room to get to the stud on the rear IIRC.

Should just need the appropriate sized socket and open/box ended wrenches. Creeper and WD40 type fluid. Changed mine in less than 40 minute for all four.

Fronts had the truck weight on them and the rears were weight off for air bag install. Having rear on jacks made to access easier.

For my Seneca we ended up borrowing tall jack stands from the local school bus barn to get the access for the air bag install.

Yeah I was hoping someone knew off the top of there head the socket and box end wrench sizes, no big deal I will either take more tools than necessary or make and extra trip

We just did ours a couple weeks ago. Ours were pin to pin front and rear, but if I remember right they were 20mm or 22mm on the old ones and 22mm or 24mm on the Konis's. You'll also need one pretty big Allen and really thin open-end wrenches. Pretty easy install.

Hard to believe the difference they made on our 35GS.

Please take pics or videos as you go (if you can)! I've read on the forums that it isn't too bad of a job. I would love to see some DIY info on it. Best of luck!
