Sofa options for Endura?

Yahoo Message Number: 6459
We really do not like the location and the sofa in our Endura...My wife and I prefer to sit next to each other when we watch a movie, but you can only see the whole TV from one of the seats in the 2 person sofa

Wondering if anyone has done something creative to work around this issue?

When we were looking at used Kodiaks, I saw one that had a flat screen mounted opposite the couch. Looked like the upper cabinet had been modified to accept what looked to be about a 26" LCD. Was in a Endura 6340 as I remember.

I have to agree as well, if we sit at the end of the sofa, the picture is good, if we sit close to the driver seat or on the chair opposite side of the sofa, we do not see full picture, that is a problem with LCD tvs, I was told plasma do not have the same problem.

I have not done yet, but I would like to put one of those "arms" behind the tv, so one can swing out and maybe tilt the tv, I do not know if there a place to mount the arm securely though, but could resolve the issue.
And yes I have see a TV on the top of the door as well, but that would be a 3rd tv in the MH, really!?!?! we do not need that.......

thanks
Mo

I used a Omni Mount.

Mounted a 3/4" piece plywood about 3 1/2" back of original TV cabinet face.
The mount is expensive (can be found cheaper). But holds TV were ever I set it.

This is the same mount I have. It is very well made. I rarely lock it in place, as my kids are usually watching something while I drive. It doesn't bounce around very much at all.

The TV mount you have pictured is made in Elkhart, In. by Morryde. They are the company that stretches Jayco's Chassis frames to fit the model RV that will be built on the frame. The TV mount pictured is a TV1 00611 you can view it at:

Hope this helps you find what you need.
