Xmsn oil filter source

Anyone have a good source for the xmsn filters on the 6spd Allison? Mine
is a gasser, but I assume these are the same xmsns regardless.

I just got mine from dealer. Change it at 5K and then I think at 100K?

Greg, you did your 5k about 4 years ago didn't you?

Newer Allison transmissions don't require the 5k change depending on the filter installed by the manufacturer.

Filtran #96054, available from tranny jobbers or most transmission shops. These guys build most of the OEM stuff.
Just be sure not to lose the magnet that sits on top of the filter, clean it up and reuse it with the new filter.

Mine  08 requires filter at 5,000 miles and then again at 24 months with fluid change at 48 months.
