Well we made it last night and are great grand-parents. Almost lost baby and mother so took it 7 weeks early but both seem to be recovering fine. Baby boy 4 lbs 13 ozs. Looks like hospital stay of up to 4 weeks.

Congratulations. Hope things continue to go well for mother and son. 7 weeks is really early so looks like they have luck on their side.

Congrats, that's not a bad weight for a premie that early. Scary times
for all I'm sure, but it sounds like it's going to work out. My niece
started at just over 4 pounds and she's a hard driving full speed high
school girl now :-)
