Attended a RV show yesterday. One of the items local dealer was displaying was Mirrors that clamp onto outer housing of a side mirror.

Of course I had to buy one. But will not be able to try it out until after Christmas. Company Rep stated that they have been showing them at FMCA rally's and other shows. Anyone bought one and have suggestions for where to mount one on passenger side mirror of our Kodiak's.

Those look cool. But if we had 2 I would have to call the Motorhome Mickey Mouse instead of the Looney Bin (from a door mat given us by some friends) it is now named. I was wondering if everyone knows they can use their backup camera while driving down the road the road. We discovered quite by accident that if we turn on the power button, the camera works even though the motorhome is in drive. We turn down the sound so we don't hear the road noise but it is really helpful to know what is coming up behind you and also for watching the toad.

And Thanks for the tips on changing the gen oil. Made us feel a lot better to know we weren't the only ones with this experience. Oil is now changed and MoHo put away for a couple weeks until we go hunting again. You guys are the best.

Not all our MH's are the same. But those with the rear view camera in the visor can watch while driving down the road. Mine has a rear window. I install a rear view mirror on windshield. Then installed a wide angle lens in the rear window. I can see that vehicles that I am passing are clear of the toad. Much faster to view and I do not have to pull visor down to see. Here is a link to the lens.
