Lazy Days Service Department

Looking for opinions here....I know someone has one :-)

I'm trying to make a plan to have the leak found and repaired and called
the local Camping World dealer here in the Raleigh, NC area. They bought
Hawley's RV last year and I was hoping they might have fixed the service
department, but by the sound of the phone call I had this morning, I'd
say that didn't happen.

There is one in Colfax, NC I had service my coach once before and
although not cheap, I guess they did okay. They can Sealtech test the
coach for about $120 and then the cost depends on what needs to happen.
That's about 90 minutes away so not too bad.

The other option is to run it down to Florida and have Lazy Days take a
look. They are scheduling for about two weeks from now and prefer to run
it thru their rain booth before they use a Sealtech machine. The man I
spoke to wasn't a huge fan of the machine by the sound of things. My
feeling is a rain test just puts more water in the rig.

The upside to Lazy Days is they can repair any paneling, etc that needs
to be done...and the weather is warm. They can also look to see if it's
possible to find a spot to install a washer/dryer....something I don't
think it possible.

Anyway.....anybody had work done at Lazy Days?

Greg

There was a guy on a truck camper forum that I used to be part of that took some plexiglass and cut it to fit the window, attached an electric leaf blower to the plexiglass. Turned it on the used a pump sprayer with soap water and sprayed the camper completely looking for bubbles. Used a crayon to mark the spots the resealed everywhere there was a mark.

I don't have any input your actual question though
