Jayco 33DS Storage Compartment Heat Shield Fix December 31, 2008, 10:57:17 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2076Any 33DS owners have any thoughts or feedback on how the right-frontstorage compartment heat shield factory fix is working? I believe it was"exfuzz" who first alerted us to this problem with a melted plasticcompartment wall. In his case I think the fix involved reinforcing theplastic compartment wall and then adding a sheet metal heat shieldbetween the muffler and the compartment wall. The subsequent factoryservice bulletin fix authorized by Jayco for all the rest of us wasinstalling an insulation blanket to the compartment wall. So I was wonderinghow other 33DS owners were faring with this fix.Bill Quote Selected
