Jayco Greyhawk 32 SS...couple of questions February 09, 2009, 09:15:42 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2234We spent a week at Fort Wilderness (Disneyworld) the week beforeChristmas. Absolutely great trip, weather was fine and the Greyhawk32 SS had only one minor problem. We spent the night going down andcoming back in Crestview Florida. We caught a cold snap in Crestviewboth times and it was in the 20's those nights. The two ceramicheaters we had worked fine. However, I tried the furnace just to use it. I had tried the furnaceat home several times and it worked fine. Now all of a sudden thefan sounds like it is hitting on something when it first starts up.After it runs for about 30 seconds or so it quits and when it cutsoff it does it again for a few seconds. Any ideas on this? It isstill under warranty but if I can fix it myself I will save a 300mile round trip to the dealer. The 07 Greyhawk did just fine on the highway. This was a 1600 miletrip and I was pleased with the handling. When an 18 wheeler getsright beside me I got just a little buffeting but nothing bad. Thenwhen the 18 wheeler pulls back over in front you get a littlebuffeting until he gets a little farther away. Some cars I have hadmove more than the Greyhawk did. Also, I am thinking about buying a Protect A Tow for the Greyhawk. My toad is a 2007 CRV and I installed a US Gear UTB system. I amusing a Blue Ox Aventa LX tow bar. Has anybody put a Protect A Towon a Jayco Greyhawk Kodiak. Any known problems? Thanks for any help.Mike Furr Quote Selected

Any known problems?I'm WAY behind on reading the list, but just saw this.I've got one and I see Don has posted the link to the photos. I've hadthe Protect A Tow since I bought the new Saturn a year ago this month.I've dragged the car 7000 miles and there isn't a mark on it. The systemdraws some attention because it doesn't look like much and I had secondthoughts about spending $200 or whatever it was on it, but I'm a big fanof it. It takes only minutes to hook up and does a great job. The onlything you'll find is the mesh screen gets real dirty because it catcheseverything so you're hands will get a bit dirty when you fold it up. Ihose it off occasionally. The pvc bar that goes over your towbar lookslike it's going to break over time, but it hasn't yet. It does bend andoccasionally the junctions get hard to take apart when you go to fold itup, but a bit of cleaning fixes it.Bottom line - if I need to replace it, I'll buy another one.Take care, Greg Quote Selected
