Endura Rear Vision Display

My only experience with rear-vision displays is having them
console-mounted or on the center overhead but in all cases, the display
was always readily visible.

My understanding is that until the 2007 models that the GS Endura rear
vision display was located on the flip-down visor over the driver's
side. I was wondering what the owners of the 2004-06 Enduras out there
thought about this setup. Has it been a problem or is it one of those
things you get used to? Has anyone tried moving the display?

I have gotten used to it. Would prefer to have it mounted off center
like newer models.
Kent Savage showed me how he mounted a rear view mirror that gives a
view of rear window. Installed a Wide Angle Lense in rear window that
is great for passing and keeping a eye on car being towed. Here is
link to lense.

Those wide angle lenses work very well. I put one in and then saw a larger one a while later and now have two. One at the bottom of the rear window and another in the center. I have to say that in comparison with our previous Class A, I hardly ever use the rear view camera.

Had Jayco made the bottom of the rear window about 6 inches lower I would be able to see cars right behind me as well as trucks.

ps. Ron - cool here in FLA. How is TX?

Upper 80's in AZ since we got here last Monday. They are calling for
70's later this week. Hard to think about the weather back home.
