Check Engine Light...ON July 15, 2013, 01:34:10 am Yahoo Message Number: 11487Left North Rim of Grand Canyon this morning and discovered the "Check Engine Light" was on. I realize that this light is usually emissions related. No dealers at the North Rim so I drove to Kingman, Az. with no problems. On two other occasions the light also came on, both times it was the EGR. Have replaced one EGR in 70,000 miles. If repairs cannot be made in Kingman, Az. do you see any problem in driving 320 miles into Los Angeles? Is it time to plug the "EGR"? Quote Selected

It's had to say what turned it on. Auto Zone or other auto parts store will usually read the code for nothing. But then if you had a Scangauge II you would already have that information. You know I am just trying to help. BestRon Hall Quote Selected

I finally broke down and installed the ScangaugeII so I dont have to travel with my big scan tool normally in my tool box mostly for this reason.Be well, ~Victor - KI6IMKodiak Diesel Dutchmen 34H BunkhouseFrom: ronjhallsr To: KodiakChassisClassC@yahoogroups.comSent: Monday, July 15, 2013 2:30 AMSubject: [KodiakChassisClassC] Re: Check Engine Light...ON Quote Selected
