Jayco Seneca 35GS Slide Motor

Yahoo Message Number: 11379
The large slide on my Seneca 35GS (drivers slide w/dinette) is moving very slow and sounds labored. It is a Power Gear slide. I have a extra slide motor from my smaller bedroom slide. Question is, are these two motors interchangeable?

Have you tried to put lube on moving parts like CW and Walmart sell?

My drivers side slide labors as it starts to retract coming up the hump so to speak and then moves fairly easily. I do worry about the motor health in that
beginning movement. The motor is evidently pretty stout as my slide has been doing this since I purchased the MH 5 years ago.

Make sure to check the wheels that are located on the passenger side of the slide mechanism.
The front slider piece on mine, the wheel had worn down and the metal pieces were running and scraping on each other. The RV repair guy made a wheel after being unsuccessful getting it from Power Gear.
And yes use Dry Lube stuff now to not attract dirt.
