Four Winds fresh water tank

Yahoo Message Number: 1846
Got a reply back from Stoney Thornburg, Four Winds Customer Service
Advisor. Along with it was a disclaimer that the contents were not to
be displayed on internet or passed on to others, is this covering your
ass ??!!!
He thanked me for the photos and said they hadn't run into this before
but from the photos and the description all I needed to do was try and
bend it out with a pair of pliers to where it didn't rub. Happy Camping
that was it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wrote back and am waiting... I asked shouldn't this be covered by
warranty and fixed by someone that knows what they are doing, what
would of happened if I hadn't noticed the problem and it would of gone
completely through the tank. I sent this to him and he cc'ed two
other people with his return to me so I sent it to them also.

Pathetic customer service isn't it? I have yet to take my Four Winds in for service, I find it is much easier to fix the problems myself. Fortunately I have the skills and knowledge to do this. I'm not saying it is right, just less stress for me. I have had the chassis in for service, but that was a GM issue.

Stoney's name came up recently on rv.net or Irv2, but I couldn't find the thread....but it was a complaint. Almost immediately, someone posted high praises for Stoney and the Four Winds team...
