Jayco Recall July 28, 2009, 09:13:38 am Yahoo Message Number: 2803That got a lot of attention! Actually we just received a recall notice for the Black & Decker coffee maker that came installed in our (that we previously owned) 2007 Jayco Greyhawk 33DS. Here's the link:http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml09/09252.htmlCertainly not much of a biggie in the grand scheme as recalls go but it was good to see the acknowledgment of this problem Periodically the brew basket would slip out, on its own, just enough and cause coffee & grounds to overflow and make a BIG mess on the counter below. The worst part was having to wait another 15 or so minutes for that critical FIRST CUP OF COFFEE because of cleanup and redo of the coffee. I finally just started wedging the brew basket in tight with folded paper.Bill Quote Selected
Re: Jayco Recall Reply #1 – July 28, 2009, 09:31:27 am Yahoo Message Number: 2804The nice thing about ordering our 32SS was being able to leave out the coffee maker. We never used it (DW hates coffee and hasn't had any for over 40 years) and I prefer Sanka instant decaf. So, I won't worry about this one. DOn 28-Jul-09, at 9:13 AM, berfle624 wrote: Quote Selected
